How do these two distinctive disciplines blend together? Art Education and
Art Therapy share theories and philosophies on child/adolescent development,
cognition, behavior, and artistic maturity. Together, these two
disciplines create a positive learning experience for the students, often
increasing insight, self expression, self esteem and education lessons from an
art therapist's perspective and re-discover the joy of expression.
